A Meeting held on 21-05-2018 (at 11.00hrs) with Hon'ble Secretary, Department of Posts, Hon'ble Director General, Posts and Hon'ble Addl. DG along with other Senior Officers of the Directorate.

Secretary General, NFPE, Com.R.N.Parashar, General Secretary, AIPEU PM& MTS Com.D.B.Mohanty, Com. P.Pandurangarao, General Secretary, AIPEU-GDS., Com.S.S.Mahadevaiah, General Secretary, AIGDSU with Com.B.V.Rao, Asst. Genl. Secretary, & Com.P.U.Muralidharan, General Secretary, NUGDS attended.

Even after a fruitful discussion, no assurance from Department on the date of implementation GDS Committee except an appeal from the Administration to call off the strike.

After the meeting, all General Secretaries of GDS Unions & P4 (NFPE) decided to go for indefinite strike from 22nd May 2018.

NFPE  directed all affiliated unions to extended solidarity support and demonstrations & wearing black badges.

All GDS comrades are requested to submit declarations to participate in the strike.

Request for public cooperation during the strike period.

Indefinite strike message should reach every GDS in the divisions.

Take all out efforts to participate GDS comrades cent percent in the strike from 22nd itself.

Hold meetings at all Head Post Offices / Divisions / Sub Offices and propagate our justified demand on implementation of GDS committe as it has taken a period of 18 months long time.

CHQ will send necessary messages and information to all CHQ office bearers / Circle Secretaries as and when required.

Please translate the CHQ messages in vernacular language and circulate among division / branch secretaries & active comrades for favour of information and awareness.
