A joint General body meeting of
Gr.C., P4, GDS, Women Committee, Casual labourers union, Pensioner’s
Associations of Gudur Division (AP) has been held on 06-03-2016 in Retired
Pensioners Association Hall, Gudur under the Presidentship of
com.R. Vijayasankar (GrC), Smt.Rathnakumari (P4), K.Jublirao(GDS).

Leader, BSNL, Guntur, Com.R.Sivannarayana, Ex- All India President , AIPEU
Gr.C., are invited as Chief Guests and the other leaders, Com.R.Govindanaik, Secretary, SC/ST Association, Com.Sk.Humayun, Ex-All India President, P4.,
Com.K.Chandrasekhar, AGS, P4 (CHQ), Com.P.Pandurangarao, General Secretary, GDS
(NFPE) are welcomed by Com.K.Sudhakar, Divisional Secretary, Gr.C. All the
leaders addressed and elaborately explained about the policies of the Govt., 7th
CPC issues, GDS Pay Committee & ensuing Verification of Membership for GDS
Unions.
The meeting organized to mobilize
the Postal employees for the ensuing indefinite strike and to discuss about the
problems of departmental employees & GDS in the division.
A women convention has also been
conducted under the Presidentship of Smt.P.Ushakumari, Vice President of the
Committee. Chief Guest Smt.G.Arunadevi, Retd. Professor in English made an
excellent speech on the eve of International Women’s Day on 08-03-2016.
Com.R.Sivannarayana felicitated
on his retirement from service on 29-02-2016 by NFPE members of Gudur Division.
Com.G.Sudhakarreddy (BSNL),
Director, P&T CooP Society, Nellore, Com.Madhaviah, GDSMD also felicitated
on their retirement from service. Com.V.Sambasivarao & Smt.G.Arunadevi
honoured with presentation of memento on behalf of NFPE, Gudur.
More than 300 employees including
30 women employees attended from all corners of the Division and comrades of
Nellore & Kavali were also witnessed the session.
