MARCH TO SANCHAR BHAWAN : Programme given by striking GDS Unions - a grand success

GDS WILL NOT SURRENDER THEIR PRESTIGE & SELF RESPECT
MARCH TO SANCHAR BHAWAN PROGRAMME 
IN DELHI MADE A RESOUND BY THOUSANDS OF GRAMIN DAK SEVAKS

March to Sanchar Bhawan Programme in Delhi (Parliament Street) uttered with shoutings and slogans of thousands of Gramin Dak Sevaks today. Hundreds of GDS from each Circle near by Delhi viz., Haryana, Pubjab, Rajasthan, J&K, Uttar Pradesh, Gujrat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttarakhand participated in the programme.

A massive rally conducted by the thousands of participants and leaders was forcibly stopped by a team of para military forces and blocked it. There after protest meeting was held in the Parliament Street. 

Com.T.K.Chandeni, Secretary, AITUC., Com.Tapan Sen, General Secretary, CITU, Shri Sripal, National Secretary, INTUC., Com.M.Krishnan, Secretary General, Confederation of CG Employees & Workers, Com.Giriraj sing, President, NFPE, Com.D.B.Mohanty, General Secretary, AIPEU Postmen & MTS., Com.P.Suresh, General Secretary, R4., Com.Pandurangarao, General Secretary, AIPEU-GDS., Com.S.S.Mahadevaiah, General Secretary, AIGDSU., Com.P.U.Mualidharan, General Secretary, NUGDS., Com.Virendrasharma, All India President, AIPEU-GDS., Com.Sulochana Sharma, Mahila Committee Member (CHQ), AIPEU-GDS, addressed the meeting.

Many of the Circle Secretaries, active Comrades represented from the Divisions were also addressed and directed the GDS CHQs not to withdraw the indefinite strike till our justified demand is reached.

The General Secretaries of GDS Unions offered thanks to the Trade Union Leaders and participant GDS comrades for the Dharna Programme.
