The 1st Circle Conference of AIPEU-GDS, Maharashtra Circle has been conducted on 04-11-2018 in Ganesh Hall, Solapur, Solapur Division.
After garlanding the Patrons of Maharashtra State at Park Chowk by the Invitees a massive & attractive rally started with 300 GDS comrades and leaders towards the venue passed through the streets of Solapur town.
The Conference presided by Com.Virendra Sharma, All India President, AIPEU-GDS. Com.M.Krishnan, invited as chief guest and inaugurated the Conference by elaborating the issues of GDS, specifically.
Sri Shirshi, SSPOs, Solapur division invited as guest of honour and graced the meeting.
Com.Balakrishna Chalke, All India President, AIPEU PM&MTS., Com.D.B.Mohanty, General Secretary, AIPEU PM&MTS., Com.R.Seethalakshmi, Ex-General Secretary, AIPEU PM&MTS., Com.R.P.Sarang, Circle Secretary, P4., Com.R.B.Sasane, Regional Secretary, Pune., Com.R.Shingade, D/S, Solapur, Divl. Secretary, Gr.C., Circle Office bearers of GrC., were also attended and addressed the conference.
Com.P.Pandurangarao, General Secretary & Com.Virendrasharma, All India President addressed the gathering by emphasizing the organizational and GDS issues elaborately.
Many NFPE leaders of Gr.C., P4 unions of Circle and Divisions were also attended and graced the conference. Com.M.H.Shaik, State General Secretary, CITU., Com.Ashok Indpure & Com.Shantan Gaikwad, State Govt. Employees Federation were also present and addressed the meeting.
It is recorded that more than 700 GDS comrades representing from 18 divisions of the Circle, remained till the conclusion of the Conference at 05-30pm.
The Conference concluded with the election of organizing body for the AIPEU-GDS Circle Union, Maharashtra unanimously.
The AIPEU-GDS CHQ conveyed heartfelt greetings and best wishes on the election of office bearers of Circle Union.
An active team of Com.Rajkumar Nagnath Atkare, Com.Ganesh Chandel & Com.Mahesh Lokare and many other comrades of NFPE unions, Solapur took all interest and attention in all respects to organize the rally and Conference with an excellent arrangements, deserves all appreciation.
