The indefinite strike call given by GDS unions (AIPEU-GDS, AIGDSU, NUGDS) from 22nd May 2018 is continued today also.
AIPEU Postmen & MTS (NFPE) union also in strike from 22nd May 2018 in support of GDS strike and also on their sectional demands.
All NFPE & FNPO affiliated unions extended their solidarity support for the GDS Strike. Lunch hour demonstrations, black badge wearing, rallies, day long demonstrations etc., are going on from 22nd onwards.
In Kerala entire departmental unions' employees are participating in the strike. Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Telangana circles (except 1 or 2 unions) all Departmental employees are participating in the GDS strike from 22nd May 2018.
BEDEU (BPEF) is already on indefinite strike from 14th May 2018.
A fourth round of talks between Unions & Administration is being held today in the presence of Regional Labour Commissioner (Central), Delhi.
All are requested to organize & mobilize all postal employees to make this indefinite strike a grand success.
