Modification in reply for item No.4 – of PSSWB meeting - Immediate death relief to the family / dependents of GDS etc – Reg.

Madam,
I would like to draw your kind
attention to the reference cited above
where in the amount of financial assistance payable to the family / dependents
of postal employees / GDSs / full time and part time casual labourers has been revised from the existing Rs.7000 to Rs.10,000 in case of death due to
accident while on duty.
There is no mention about the
normal death duly applying the enhanced amount. Since the minutes causes some
ambiguity in respect of relief to normal death, it is requested to cause
specific clarification in this regard duly applying the enhanced amount as
immediate death relief to normal cases.
A line in reply about the action taken is highly solicited.
