There are more than 1,55,000 Post offices in India is the eternal say of the Govt & Department of Posts.
There are about 1,29,000 Post offices  called  as Extra Departmental Branch Offices spread over in rural India, the staff are called GRAMIN DAK SEVAKS, working for 3 – 5 hours  a day.
