POSTAL JCA (NFPE & FNPO GDS(NFPE) & NUGDS) MEETING WITH DG ON CHARTER OF DEMANDS


Today (05-02-2015) Postal JCA leaders comprising Secretary Generals of NFPE & FNPO, General Secretaries of both Federations including GDS (NFPE) & NUGDS leaders had  a meeting with DG Posts on important issues and demands related to all cadres of  postal employees .

MINUTES OF MEETING WILL BE EXHIBITED ON WEB-SITE AFTER RECEIPT FROM DEPTT. OF POSTS.

NO FINAL SETTLEMENT ON ANY ISSUE HAS BEEN REACHED. EVEN THOUGH POSITIVE ASSURANCES HAVE BEEN GIVEN BY SECRETARY (POSTS)

            WE SHOULD CONTINUE OUR CAMPAIGN AND PREPARATIONS FOR INDEFINITE STRIKE FROM MAY 06th,2015.

REGARDING GDS, SECRETARY (POST) TOLD THAT GOVT. HAS AGREED TO RE-EXAMINE THE CASE FOR REFERRING THE REVISION OF WAGES AND OTHER SERVICE CONDITIONS OF GDS TO 7th C.P.C.

  WE HAVE TAKEN A FIRM STAND THAT WE DO NOT WANT SEPARATE COMMITTEE FOR GDS.

 SECRETARY GENERAL NFPE & FNPO, GENERAL SECRETARIES OF AFFILIATED UNIONS INCLUDING GDS UNIONS PARTICIPATED IN MEETING.
