GDS STRIKE CONTINUES 100% IN ALL CIRCLES
DEPARTMENT CALLED FOR DISCUSSION AT 4 PM ON
04.06.2018 TODAY
Dear Comrades,
The historic
indefinite strike of all the four GDS unions entered fourteenth (14th)
day today. As per the report received from all Circles/Divisions GDS Strike is
near total everywhere. In Hyderabad about 5000 GDS Unions members, NFPE and
FNPO plus other trade Unions blocked the Chief PMG office. In Shimla Himachal
Pradesh Thousands of GDS are sitting on dharna. In Andaman Nicobar Islands all
the GDS are on strike. More reports are pouring in from various Circles.
The Secretary,
Department of Posts has called the striking GDS Unions for formal discussion at
4 PM today (04.06.2018). All are requested to keep the tempo high and make the
strike 100% everywhere.
