Dear Comrade,
You
are well aware that our AIPEU-GDS(NFPE) CHQ has decided in its Central Working
Committee meeting held on 23-05-2012 at Hyderabad to hold a day long dharna on 28-06-2012 in
front of all Chief PMG offices and Divisional offices in every Circle with the
coordination of NFPE affiliated unions of the Circle concerned.
The
said above dharna held in many divisions and encouraging results received by
our CHQ and conveys its greetings to all; published in our website.
This
is the first program of action on GDS issues after the formation of our Union and every responsibility shouldered by our comrades
to draw attention of the GDS membership that the AIPEU-GDS(NFPE) has its own liability
towards redress the GDS problems in continuation of struggles under the banner of NFPE. I can say this
program made a grand success at divisional level and circle level and leads in a same manner to next program of
action i.e, “March to Parliament on 26-07-2012’ “NFPE convention on 26-07-2012
at 3.30pm’ and “Parliament Dharna on 27-07-2012”
We
are being encouraged and supported by our leadership of NFPE and its affiliated
union in many Circles that the growth and development of the Union
will fruitfully resulted in near future.
At
this instance, it is pertinent to mention some important developments taken
place after the formation of our Union in some
Circles.
Organization :
== Kerala Circle AIPEU-GDS(NFPE)
formed in its joint Circle Conference held from 13th to 15th
of May, 2012 and almost all the Divsional and Branch Unions formed.
== Assom Circle AIPEU-GDS(NFPE)
ad hoc committee formed and the formation of divisional and branch unions are
under progress.
== Andhra Pradesh Circle convention was held
on 10-06-2012 and Circle organizing body formed
and nearly 50 Divisions/branches
submitted their organizing body lists to the Circle union.
== Orissa circle level organizing
body formed on 27-05-2012 and many divisional/branch unions formations over,
remaining under progress
== West Bengal Circle Conference
of AIPEU-GDS(NFPE) held on 17-06-2012 and the formation of divisional and
branch unions almost completed.
== Karnataka Circle level organizing body
formed on 17-06-2012 and the process of under progress to form divisional and
branch unions.
== Tamil Nadu circle, many branch
and Divisional Unions formed and process is in progress.
== Uttar Pradesh Circle convention is going
to be held on 15-07-2012.
== Madhya Pradesh Circle, the efforts are
being put to form our Union at branch level
soon.
In remaining Circles, the NFPE
leadership is in action with some progress and some GDS comrades are interested
to form our union.
First Central Working Committee meeting of AIPEU-GDS (NFPE) CHQ was held
on 23-06-2012 at Hyderabad
and discussed the organizational issues, constitution of AIPEU-GDS(NFPE),
financial issues besides program of action on GDS issues.
NFPE in its Federal Secretariat
meeting held on 21-05-2012 discussed and decided to accord “Associate Membership” to AIPEU-GDS(NFPE) to function unitedly at
all levels.
CHQ function : Our CHQ has stared its function from the CHQ of
AIPEU Gr.C, Dada Gosh Bhawan, New Delhi -8; accommodation was provided with all
office facilities and the day to day updation of our web site >www.aipeugdsnfpe.blogspot.com<
with the help of our Gr.C & NFPE
leadership is going on smoothly.
A journal “GDS Crusader” was released for May-June, 2012 and distributed among
all the rank and file of postal employees in all Circles.
Program of action : Our CHQ is concentrated not only on the
organizational development but also on the issues of GDS by preparing a 32
charter of demands and the same is
forwarded to Secretary, Posts on the day of our first program of action day long dharna
on 28-06-2012.
In continuation of the above next
program of action viz., “Dharna at
Parliament” on 27-07-2012 exclusively on GDS demands and memorandum will
submitted to the Govt. and Department on the same day.
Like wise, the CHQ is moving in a
certain direction and in a positive way with the total support and
encouragement of NFPE and Gr.C & P-4 unions besides all other affiliated
unions.
Ofcourse, some elements from
other quarters commenting us with mere disgust, became aloof from the united
postal movement and satisfying their membership that their union is still
recognized and audaciously using unparliamentary words. But we had such courage
to face them all and we can reach our goal steadily with strong base of GDS membership.
I suggest you that it is better
to create an individual e-mail for sending Circulars and correspondence, if any,
as there is unusual delay in transmission of letter mail and reach in odd times
and the purpose will not be served fruitfully. Further, requesting you to
utilize efforts to launch website for the circle and link with CHQ web site
positively.
I request you to utilize every
opportunity to maintain communication with CHQ and report the developments
taking place at your end and follow the information on our websites, no need to
hesitate in disclosing your expressions/formulations with regard to our
organization and have the good interaction with our NFPE leaders for further
guidance and suggestions.
