Now pay through EMI for your railway tickets - NEWS

INDIAN RAILWAY'S INNOVATIVE STEP:

New Delhi: In a innovative step, Indian Railway has introduced Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) system of payment for its tickets. Now you can book a ticket and pay it in installments.

But there is a catch in this. Only those who will book ticket online will get this benefit.

For this purpose Indian Railway’s online booking website, IRCTC, has added one more mode of payment in it and that is EMI option, in addition to credit, debit and net banking options.

For now, only Citi bank credit card holders will have the privilege of paying through EMI.

This is how the tickets will be booked through EMI :

During the booking process there will be credit, debit, net banking and EMI option in the website. As soon as you will click on EMI option, credit card details will be asked. Once you will submit all the details, entire ticket amount will be deducted from credit card and will be transferred in IRCTC's account but bank will break the payment for you into EMIs.
