A Judicial Magistrate of
the city has been accused of harassing a girl. The victim has alleged that the
judge has sent her over 37000 inappropriate messages in more than one year.
She also said that accused judge Nilesh Chauhan used to call her in order to
harass her.
The local court rejected the anticipatory bail of Chauhan in connection to the
case on Saturday. The court also agreed to arrest the accused.
Now, he will be arrested any time soon. Commenting on the case, the court ruled
that if the judicial magistrate will behave like 'Romeo', it will send the
wrong message to the society.
According to information, the victim and Chauhan has been old classmates.
Currently, the girl is working as a yoga trainer. However, after marriage, both
lost contact and went their separate ways.
The girl has alleged that Chauhan not only harassed her but also tortured her
mentally and physically. The past year, Chauhan had managed to get the
anticipatory bail in the case.
Everything went normal for sometime but once again he started harassing the
girl. Thereafter, on the complaint by the girl, the police registered a case
against the judicial magistrate.
