A Circle level workshop for
AIPEU-GDS Divisional Secretaries and active comrades of GDS has been
conducted in Shri Siddaganga Mutt, Kyathasandra, Near Tumkur.
The meeting presided by
Com.Raju P. Patil, Circle President, GDS and Com.P.Pandurangarao invited as
Chief Guest. Many leaders of NFPE viz., Com.R.Sitalakshmi, General Secreary,
P4., Com.Janakiraman, Circle Secretary, AIPEU GrC., Com.M.B.Krishnappa, Dy Circle
Secretary, P4., Com.Krishnamurthy, Circle Secretary, SC/ST Association,
Com.Neelappa, veteran leader of NFPE, Com.B.R.Jagdeesh, Asst. General Secretary, GDS
(CHQ), GDS Mahila Committee Members Com.Bhagyasri & Com.Leelavathi were also and addressed in the meeting.
Many issues on Organizational
matters, ensuing verification of GDS, GDS Pay Committee, future of Rural net
work and GDS are elaborately explained by the leaders in their deliberations.
Com.S.Varalakshi, General
Secretary, CITU, Karnataka State invited as guest of honour and spoken on GDS
system and united struggles of working class on the anti-worker policies of the
Govt.
Many questions raised on GDS
problems and organization are analysed and explained by Com.P. Pandurangarao,
Com.Sitalakshmi & Com.Janakiraman.
The meeting witnessed by 300
GDS comrades including Gr.C., Mahila Representatives of Karnataka Circle and
organized in such a way by the team of Gr.C Leaders viz., Com.Bettaiah,
Com.Puttaiah, Com.Kantharaju, Com.Purushottam, Com.Chandrakala P4-Com.Syed
Munawar Hussain and GDS- D.C.Thataiah and may other comrades of Tumkur division
and Karnataka Circle deserves all appreciation.
All the Divisional Secretaries and Leaders of NFPE assured that a maximum percentage of GDS membership will be ensured in favour of AIPEU-GDS, Karnataka Circle.
