Meeting of Presidency Zone
held on 4th June 2017 at Krishnanagar HO under Nadia North Dn. Com Ashoke Kumar
Mondal, hoisted the Red Flag of NFPE. Then leadership paid tribute
respectful homage on Marty's column. Com. Com. Subhas Chakraborty, Dy General
Secretary, AIPEU, Postmen & MTS (CHQ) & West Bengal Circle inaugarated
the meeting. Com. Ashoke Kumar Mondal, President Postal Workers Union, Nadia
South, Sukumar Ghosh(Secretary, GDS, Birbhum ), Chintaharan Das(Secretary,
Postman & MTS), Bijaykrishna Pandit (Secretary, Gr-C, Mursidabad )
presided over the meeting. Com. Dipankar Mondal & Adhir Das Zonal Convenor placed the draft
report before the house. 14 (Fourteen) Comrades of different Divn took part on
discussion and all comrades stressed on cadre related issues, strengthening GDS
organization as well as our NFPE as a whole. Com. Tapan Bharati, Financial
Secretary, GDS West Bengal Circle also addressed the meeting. More than 100
comrades of all cader including Divisional Secretary attended the said meeting.
Issue of GDS , latest position of 7th Pay Commission, review of 16th
March 2017 Strike, Membership verification , Next Circle conference of West
Bengal Circle, Next AIC of Gr-C, Cader related problem have been discussed in
the meeting.

Adhir Das, Convener, replied on the issue raised in the meeting.
The meeting has ended with vote of thanks of the president. Nice
arrangement has been made by the comrades of Nadia North Division.

held at Sushil Ghosh Memorial Hall, Aligunj, Midnapoe on 04.06.2017 under the
leadership of MIDNAPORE DIVn. Com. Ashish Dutta, Circle President, GDS Union
hoisted the Red Flag of NFPE. Then leadership paid tribute respectful homage on
Marty's Column. Com. Durgapada Kamila, Com. Dilip Soren, Com. Anand Mohan
Mukherjee, and Com. Madhusudan Singh presided over the meeting. Com. Ajit Rana,
Com. Bharat Barui and Com. Abhijit Chakraborty, (All Zonal Convenor ) placed
the draft report before the house. Comrades of different Divn took part on
discussion and all comrades stressed on cadre related issues, strengthening GDS
organization as well as our NFPE as a whole. Near about 65 Comrades were
present in the Zonal Meeting.
Com. Annwesha Biswas, Circle Secretary, P3, Com. Asit Das, Ex-Dy. General Secretary, SBCO (CHQ), Com. Manas Pradhan, Asstt. Circle Secretary, P4, Com. Ashish Dutta, Circle President, GDS, Com. Bikash Raj, Asstt. Circle Secretary, GDS and Com. Arun Bhattacharya, All India Vice President, PWU were present on behalf of Circle Union. All Circle leadership are addressed the Meeting also. Lastly Zonal Convenors were given the reply on the point arise by the comrades. The meeting has ended with vote of thanks of the president.
