NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th July, 2020
G.S.R. 446(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 43 read with section 74 of the Indian Post Office Act, 1898 (6 of 1898), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Post Office (Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933, rules 144 A to 144 G, and their heading “Instant Money Order” shall be omitted.

सा.का.जन. 446(अ).—केंद्रीय सरकार भारतीय डाकघर अधिनियम, 1898 (1898 का 6) की धारा 74 के साथ पठित धारा 43 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय डाकघर अधिनियम, 1933 में और संशोधन करते हुए निमन्लिखित नियम बनती है, अर्थात;-
1. (1) इन नियमो का संक्षिप्त नाम भारतीय डाकघर (संशोधन) नियम, 2020 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत होंगे।
2. भारतीय डाकघर अधिनियम, 1933 में नियम 144 क से 144 छ और उनका शीर्षक “तत्काल धनादेश” को लोप किया जायेगा.
