Dear Comrades,
NFPE & AIPEU GDS (NFPE) jointly filed a case in the Supreme Court on the plea to implement the remarkable judgement of 1977 that GDS (EDA) are holders of Civil Post. The Case has been numbered (No.1003 of 2013) in the Supreme Court and "ADMISSION HEARING" date is to be any day after 13-12-2013.
A very good achievement for our NFPE & AIPEU-GDS(NFPE) to fight for the right cause and demanding the Civil Servant Status to GDS through our legal battle.
It is already decided to conduct series of struggles by NFPE & AIPEU-GDS(NFPE) including strike demanding regularize the GDS and recognize them as Civil Servants for all purposes at par with departmental employees.
This is a new beginning for GDS.
