DECIDED TO CONDUCT

TWO DAYS NATIONWIDE STRIKE

ON 9^th& 10^th NOVEMBER 2016

followed by a phased programme of action, demanding --

Demand No. 1 -      Grant of enhanced bonus of 7000 to Gramin Dak Sevaks for the financial year 2014-15 and 2015-16 at par with departmental employees.

Demand No. 2 -      Payment of arrears of revised wages from 01.01.2006 (6^th CPC arrears) and from 01.01.2016 (7^th CPC arrears) to Casual, part-time, contingent employees and Daily rated mazdoors. Grant enhanced bonus to Casual Labourers also.

PHASED PROGRAMME OF ACTION

Phase – 1 -   Protest demonstrations in front of all Divisional/Regional / Circle offices on 3^rd October 2016.

Phase –2 - Mass dharna in front of all Divisional / Regional / Circle offices on 20^th October 2016.

Phase – 3 -   Indefinite hunger fast in front of Dak Bhawan by Secretary Generals and General Secretaries from 3^rd November 2016.

Phase – 4 -   Two days nationwide strike on 9^th& 10^th November 2016.
