Postal JCA called upon the NFPE, AIPEU GDS, FNPO & NUGDS to hold protest demonstration infront of Circle / Regional / Divisional offices on 03-10-2016, demanding -
1. Grant of enhanced bonus of 7000 to Gramin Dak Sevaks for the financial year 2014-15 and 2015-16 at par with departmental employees.
2. Payment of arrears of revised wages from 01.01.2006 (6th CPC arrears)
and from 01.01.2016 (7th CPC arrears) to Casual, part-time, contingent
employees and Daily rated mazdoors. Grant enhanced bonus to Casual
Labourers also.
as a 1st phase of programme of action.
It is reported from the Divisions / Circles that the protest demonstrations have been conducted in most of the divisions / Regions with a large participation of employees.
AIPEU GDS CHQ CONVEYS THANKS TO ALL COMRADES CAUSED TO MAKE THE PROGRAMME A GRAND SUCCESS.
Further it is informed that the file related to grant of Bonus to GDS @ Rs.7000- has been sent to Ministry of Finance from the Department of Posts.
The discrimination towards GDS would not be tolerated and the delay in taking the decision in favour of GDS will not be prolonged.
Let us mobilize and prepare the cadres for the 2nd phase programme of action by holding mass dharna on 20th October 2016 at Divisional / Regional / Circle Offices.
Mobilize & organize till our demand is settled.
